It's Going To Be Okay.

Written By Sivuyile Tshalana.

Life has taught you lessons that you never thought you will ever learn. We're all going through something, to others it's visible and certain individuals its inner scars. Even though you may feel alone at times when things don't go your way. We hope that this piece reminds you how far you've come and that there's someone who understands your pain.

It's Going To Be Okay.
You don't have a need nor urgency to wake up in the morning.
You just want to sleep and never wake up.
You cry day in and day out.
You procrastinate all day and lazy around.
You ask yourself all the times why this had to happen to me?
What did I do to deserve this unhealthy life?
You're not happy with yourself, your family, friends and your relationship.
You have anger issues and you take it out on innocent people.
Truth be told, you just feel like giving up in life.
You constantly blame everyone in your life, for all that has caused your life feel like it's a standstill.
To make things worse you like to compare your life with other people. You feel cheated as all your friends and school mates have graduated.
They own businesses, others are doing their dream jobs and they have all the luxuries that you can only dream of.
They post on social media about their accomplishments.

It's Going To Be Okay.
You barely afford to even buy data and you're behind on your dreams and your vision.
You feel like the black sheep of the family.
You feel worthless.
You can't even get money to pay for your studies.
You owe other people money.
Your family calls you a loser.
Since you don't contribute to the family financially.
You don't have a voice in family gatherings.
You constantly told what to do with your life and how to do it?
No-one has sat down with you and asked you what do you want in life? What are your goals?
No-one cares if you're alive, hurting or even happy.
You just stuck in a life that you not proud of.
Every little move you're doing trying to change your life, something always goes wrong or you end up not getting the desired outcome.

It's Going To Be Okay.
At the moment you're homeless, you don't even have proper clothes on and you're literary dying of starvation.
People laugh at you as you beg on the streets.
You have a sickness that's killing you day by day and you ashamed to tell anyone as they might leave you alone.
Your doctor just told you that you don't have a lot of years to live in this life.
You're hiding a secret from your loved ones.
You're unemployed and you've tried by all means to seek work opportunities but nothing is coming up.
You just lost a job opportunity because you didn't have money to even travel to the interview.
Some interviews you go to you get rejected because of your ethnic group. Maybe you didn't want to sleep your way to the job.
You get rejected in a workplace because of your morals, beliefs and cultural practices.
Your neighbours hate you and you have no idea the reasons behind their motives.
You get death threats.

It's Going To Be Okay.
You just lost your loved one.
You feel helpless, hopeless and fearful.
Covid19 has ruined your life.
Your partner cheated on you.
You're going through a divorce.
Your children abandoned you.
You're a child of rape.
Your parents gave away for adoption and you now looking for your real parents.
You have abused your whole life by people you know and strangers.
You have been raped.
You just got retrenched by your employers.
Your girlfriend is pregnant, but you not ready to be a parent.
You want her to do abortion.
You want to be a parent, unfortunately, you're infertile.
You're hanging in a job you hate with your whole life but you doing it because it pays the bills.
You underestimate your own goals and dreams.
You lack self-confidence, self-love and self-esteem.

It's Going To Be Okay.
You despise life and everything that's living and walking on it.
You live to inflict pain on other people since you're bleeding inside. You've been broken many times and you find it necessary to make other people's lives a living hell.
You got all the money in the world, but you regret every decision you've to get it as it was illegal.
Some people are crying because of you. They wish you nothing but death as you've taken what they valued the most in their lives.
You just lost your house, car and you've filed for bankruptcy.
You've failed more than you've achieved.

Always remember that what you're going through isn't permanent. It's a phase in your life that you have to go through. As painful as it may feel but remember joy comes after pain. Don't allow yourself to be comfortable in pain but keep on finding better ways of moving forward. It's not easy to forgive and forget, but it's possible. You don't want to live your life in misery and regrets. Wondering what if you did something differently, now is the time to do it. All that matters is taking that step forward in the right direction. Also, get professional help if you can't handle the pain anymore. Don't inflict more pain on yourself. Just remember it's going to be okay. You may not see that now but in no time you will see it. Don't you ever give up! Don't give up today or tomorrow. Stay extra woke.

It's going to be okay.

My Azania.

Written By Miss Madonna Jwara and  Mr Sivuyile Tshalana.

Africa is one of the most beautiful continents in the world. Full of amazing people, delicious food, wonderful places, incredible cultures and a talented continent. It amazes me that it has been ignored by the rest of the world for its importance. Let's start within the continent itself though, the fact that we've allowed different overseas countries to separate us has become questionable. If you look at it we have less Black-owned business, we export almost everything that we consume within the continent and some of us has made okay to be second best. We have all the resources to make Africa great and have an enormous economy that is controlled by ourselves.

The funniest thing is the perception of fear given life by prying eyes who seek to gain, the oldest strategy conquer and divide has worked so well in Africa. So well that the narrative of the conquerors has us not defending a word. I've come to hate so hard for it is not true we do not fear each other nor our black skin or hate each other. Xenophobia in the English dictionary means one scared of his or her race. That is laughable as the Germans feared the Jews yet it's not termed as Xenophobic, Russia and America have been at it since the 18th century, China and Japan had a go at each other. It comes down to intelligence then which is a Black man you don't have the mental capacity to wage wars, colonize or any tangible thing. Is there any claim within your existence that you have to this world your history, your present regrettably your future. There's nothing to claim it's always been ours. We're a peaceful godlike breed race there's no need to fight each other but let's give African Nations the respect due to them. For instance, a task for the authorities sort through that it was Ethiopian, Nigerian and South African nationalists cause if we don't we're indirectly allowing profane terms. Thing is this is the same as Apartheid segregating and grouping us it's still slavery to terms given by other nationalists to Nigerian their narrative then it's transference onto the next African generation.

We need to realise that we don't need other countries to divide us anymore. What has occurred on this continent is enough. We cannot allow the same mentality of slavery moving forward. If we cannot fix ourselves, who will? Also, it's critical that we also have a look at the environment around us. Just figure out how can we then tweak certain things for Africans to believe that they're worth it. Being Black isn't a sign, it's a blessing. Just explore your inner Africanism, get to know other fellow brothers and sisters within the continent. We need to stop thinking that Africans should only remain in their country of birth. If they move they're re regarded as foreigners. How can you become a foreigner in your continent? The hatred that is shown towards as Africans is purely uncalled for and needs to end. We need to make peace with the fact we're one and we want nothing but the best for our continent. Although we were brainwashed by certain overseas countries into believing that were inferior and that we will never be a continent that the whole talks about when it comes to wealth and success.

Even if you switched on the news in overseas countries, all they know about Africa is that it's a poor continent, with high crime, fertility, corruption and death rate. With low life expectancy, no infrastructure and a terrible education system. Most non-Africans that have never been to Africa think that it's a jungle with wild animals moving all over the place. They're sold the wrong side of Africa by their news channels and also our channels don't do justice either as scandals sell more in media. We can sit around, debate the whole day but the truth of the matter is we need to stop talking about the things we cannot change which is the past. It's up to us as Africans to then show the world how our wonderful and resourceful is our continent.

We need to bring back the spirit of humanity, tolerance, respect, peace and love. Together as Africans, we can achieve the greater things for our continent and it's a matter of putting our differences aside. Then coming up with more solutions than creating more problems. Giving rise to Black children seeing and treating each other differently because of hate given life to and appealing emotionally not logically. Those are my brothers and sisters, nobody got time for that are we in a competition which is a better country or whose the smartest or fastest hell, it's healthy. Let's keep falling in love and improving and unlocking our intelligence Azania. Let's focus on ourselves, bettering our skills and knowledge than focusing on the enemy. When we're fully content with ourselves and the continent, the enemy will do us no harm.

Rise Africa Rise!!!

Africa.

Written By Sivuyile Tshalana.

My Africa. Your Africa, our Africa.
Oh man, you have to love Africa.
Just know it's more than a continent.
 It's a way of life.
It's a way of living.
It's a way of peace.
Oh man, Africa my wife.
Africa, my husband.
Africa, my son.
Africa, my daughter.
Africa, my niece.
Africa, my nephew.
Africa, my grandfather.
Africa, my grandmother.
Africa, my uncle.
Africa, my aunt.
Africa, my long lost relative.
Africa, you're my everything.
Africa, you're superior.
Africa, you've given birth to icons and role models.
Africa, you're such a vibe, you've brought back the meaning of life.
Africa, you make smile, laugh and even cry tears of joy.
It's a blessing to be in your presence.
I love you, Africa, wholeheartedly.

You've seen me through my good and bad times. You've shown me so much that I can do with my life and what I can achieve in this world. Every day, I look around all I see is a beautiful land, wonderful people and an amazing life ahead of us as Africans.
You're more than just a continent. You're made up of the most welcoming and selfless places across all borders. You're a standout from the rest as you've constantly made sure that you bring unity across the world.

Africa pushes you to want to achieve more in life, that top of the pinnacle kind of dream. It defines success as an African. It's all about happiness.
Africa is just fantastic in every way that you look at it.
It's eye-grabbing, jaw-dropping, easy to love and makes Africans appreciate their continent even more.

It doesn't matter what you've heard about Africa until you have to experience it yourself. You get to see all that nitty-gritty sweetness, the juiciness of the greatest continent called Africa. You get to experience the love conditional love, generosity, kindness, friendliness, unity and humanity.
Africa is and will always be the continent that's full of innovators, idealists, entrepreneurs, humanitarians, lovers of life, feminists, well-educated individuals, go-getters, freedom fighters and pure hustlers.

Africans, heal your Africa, our Africa. Let's just love each other and respect each other, be there for each other and help each other more. See life as we want it to be. We want to see the better sides of everyone in the world. The only way we can do that is by telling each other that we all matter, despite the colour of our skin and what matters at this moment is pure generosity, just come together as Africans and be one.

At the end of the day, we need each other. So the best thing we can do is to see one another as fellow brothers and sisters that need each other to be better in life, to achieve more than what we've already achieved at this moment.
Africans let's all show more love and just be positivity amongst each other, and everything will be okay. Africa is a continent to always look out for in terms of careers, success, business resources, talented people, every money-making and infrastructure.

The only thing that's needed at the moment is to combine our resources and our intelligence to come up with better ways of making one another reach abilities to be a greater individual in life.
Africans need to learn to believe in their abilities and trust their people and respect the process of making Africa a continent of dreams and life beyond measure.

Africa needs to grow than what it is at the moment and, to be honest, we've done well so far, but there's always a room for improvement. Africans need to reach that inner or deeper Kind of resilience for a better Africa. It doesn't matter where you come from, but what matters is you are in Africa. Let's make it our duty to make Africa greater.

Writing Is A Journey.

Written by Miss Desiree Diane Prins and Mr Sivuyile Tshalana.

Writing is an entity that directs your journey. It’s a conversation that cleanses the souls of lovers of liberty and wisdom, the chauvinist and the feminist, the timid and the bold. It’s a voice for freedom fighters and activists. Writing is growth in the wilds and rocks of untraversed deserts, it brings out a light fragrance which brings autumn and vitality. Writing is a journey to free will as it liberates those trapped in prisons cells of toxicity, anxiety and depression. Writing takes you to forests of black and blue flowers where you’ll be serenaded by the sound of the melody of birds while you are decompressing in the quietness of solitude, trying to find inspiration or rather a muse for your next phenomenal piece.

When you write you have to pour all your emotions on your piece that you're writing. It's a daunting task to do as you have to think about the reader too. The message that you want to convey has to come out the way you want it. At times you may not get it correctly and it's okay since nobody is perfect. It's always important for writers to write what they like or love as that will then spread to the reader. If writers believe in their work, then it will show in their work. Passion is a necessity in writing. When you choose to go to the world as a writer, then you must be able to adapt to different feedback and constructive criticism.

Writing is a journey, that unravels romance, drama, thriller, horror, realism, satire you name it. Therein, to deliver a satisfactory piece you need to go on a journey you didn’t prepare yourself to go on. Writing involves trying to make sense of the world and pouring out emotions, but depending on the piece at hand. A journey to writing can be easily described as a mind map and a rough draft. It consists of impulse emotion and drives, telling anecdote of events that took place in your life, sometimes of what you might have heard here and there. In that, we hear voices in our heads that we cannot ignore but to put on paper. Writing is an adventure of having to record fiction, non-fiction, stories, memories, with hopes that your piece will be good enough to make it for publication.
It's a process to write, as it starts from brainstorming ideas of what to write about in your piece. Who's the target market? Where to publish the piece? Who are you going to work within the whole creation process? Do you have a good budget to cover all the writing expenses, like editing, marketing, publishing and the production of books? Even if self-doubt starts crawling in like a thief at night coming to steal your light or your success. Do yourself a favour and stop overthinking. To make it easier for every writer out there in the world, self-confidence has a lot to do with being a successful writer. As a writer, you have to trust and believe in your work. Not everyone is going to love your work which is alright.

In the journey of writing, there is an adventure and, a writer that has to find his or her destination and voice. To find that voice and destination is a journey that could lead to a work of art or a piece that can end up being published. Therefore, the journey to writing is more than just a mind map, a rough draft and a final draft. It's in-depth, it has blood, sweat and tears but it can unravel healing if you find your voice and destination. It is through practice, failing and not giving up that makes it all worth it at the end. In writing, talent isn't enough, consistency, hard work and believing in your work are crucial. It's a matter of reading more books, blogs, articles, even attending writing courses, listening to podcasts about writing and even watching more videos about your favourite writers. Just do anything in your power that will upgrade your knowledge and make you a better writer. The journey doesn't end now, it's only the beginning. Buckle up, have fun and enjoy the beautiful journey of writing.

The Lockdown Saved My Life.

Written By Sivuyile Tshalana.

I've always spent most of my time at work. I didn't have any problems whatsoever as I loved construction. I enjoyed bringing ideas into reality. As we only had a design from the architecture and we had to pull out everything that's on that design and come up with a final product. As an area manager at the construction company, I had to oversee a lot of the proceedings at work. The assistant manager, had little to none of decisions to make. I loved being hands on in terms every project we were working on but we mostly dealt with building property. As you can imagine I have to work long hours, early mornings and late nights. As a woman I much pretty enjoyed every little thing about my job. I was getting a fat cheque too which was like a cherry on top. When looking at me, you could never tell I was working in a construction company. My hair, nails, face was always on fleek as the millenniums would say it. I pretty much looked after myself and I didn't let the construction sites get into my head.

I was young, Black and successful. I can't really complain though I worked so hard for my desired life. Oh, where's my manners? My name is Mrs Jess Zingi and I'm 27 years old. I am also married to a businessman, Mr Sizo Zingi and he's 35 years old. He was investing almost everywhere he could, which made him a major shareholder in many companies. He had his own club, properties to rent, soccer team and food outlet. We really were a career oriented couple and we wanted nothing but more success for each other. We lived in an upper market place, 6 bedrooms house, with a tennis court, jacuzzi, swimming pool and fancy cars. What more could a woman ask for? My life was well put together and I was happy within my marriage. I mean we were only married for 3 years with no children. We wanted to make sure that when we bring our children to the world, they get whatever they want and we didn’t want them to struggle like we did when growing up. My husband was alright with  everything and we had less fights. Our fights were not investing too much time in our marriage. After all Sizo wanted his wife at home when he was also at home but unfortunately that wasn't always the case. He was self employed and I wasn't even though I was calling the shorts at work.

I also had to answer to higher management every now and then. I won't lie, I had pressure to perform well as a woman and I could see that the subordinates weren't pleased at times that they were managed by a woman. I had to hold my fort at work and also at home which I also failed at times. Recently as we had a lockdown, we had to shutdown our services and I fought to make sure that no-one loses his job. Even though there were pay cuts here and there but it was worth it then having no job to go to after the lockdown. Although I was able to save the day at work but not so much at home. I had a lot of time to do soul searching and self introspection to be exact. I realized that marriage wasn’t made for me. I just couldn't survive in the kitchen and doing all the household work. Especially submitting to a man everyday. It's like suddenly he didn't have hands and I had to do everything as he was in his study all day long. I understand he was furious at the fact that the lockdown has made him lose millions of dollars. Even though he did claim from the government but it wasn't enough. He was always moody and not even allowing me to spend quality time with him.

As I sat down, drank my tea after a lot of household work and my office work. I realized that marriage isn't for me. I think I rushed into marriage and I should get back my old life. I just couldn't live in an unhappy home. The money meant nothing in that case, I just had to divorce him and focus on my life. I didn't think I can be hold responsible for another person life. I realized that within these 3 years I've been living a lie and I used my work as a shield to protect me from my own marriage. With all these thoughts occurring in my mind, I took a long breath and I said to myself I'm out of this miserable life. I then walked to his study while he was still busy with his work. I took out my weeding ring, placed it on his work desk, I told him I can't do this anymore and I'm not a wife material. I needed to focus on my life and grow as an individual. I thanked him for all the love he has shown me and all the memories we have made within our relationship. I kissed him on his forehead, said goodbye, my lawyer will be in touch and the home movers company and my mother will be here tomorrow to fetch my belongings. He sat there in disbelief, mouth open and his left hand on his left cheek. I advised him to not make it harder than it already is and he must just let me go.

As I walked away, his last words were I love you Jess, please don't leave me, I'm nothing without you and I promise you that I will change and I'm sorry for everything. I could hear this as he was also running after me. I locked him in his study which wasn’t ideal but I had to do it in order for me to leave in peace. I left the key on floor so that he could be able to get it as there was a small space between the floor and the door. That was the last day I saw him and I signed my divorce papers when it was sent to me by my lawyer. I didn't take much from him as I only took what was due to me. All his businesses, the house and certain cars he kept that with him. The lockdown really made me realized I was meant to do more with my life. As we currently speak I am working on starting my own construction company and I'll also invest in different companies. My mother is my partner and we live together. Life is so much better now that  I moved back home and I'm just on the rebuilding stage of my life.

Happy Mother's Day.

Written By Sivuyile Tshalana.

Mothers play numerous roles in our lives at the same time. They're our:

Queens.
Goddesses.
Role Models
Icons.
Leaders.
Best Friends.
Sisters.
Fathers.
Kings.
Day Ones.
Best Teachers.
Our Doctors.
Chefs.
Listeners.
Our Psychologist.
Beauticians.
Idealist.
Number One Fans.
Best Advisors.
Realist.
Investors.
Believers.

Motherhood has to be most challenging role in the world. I mean you have to deal with different children everyday, which means you must meet their needs and wants within that particular time. Y'all have to learn to understand each child's personal trait and revolve yourself in a way that will benefit your children. Most of the times mothers put their children first and themselves last. As they have to look after their partners too as well the whole household. They have to make sure that everyone has woken up, eaten, brush their teeth, made their beds, cleaned their room and make sure that everyone has done what they supposed to do. Mothers with young children, they have to feed, teach, bath, clean after their children and also need to play with them too.

Mothers are the real essential workers, as they have to constantly serve their families and make sure that everyone is alright. Its just a selfless work, with no days off and full of patience. Unfortunately the world expect mothers to have all the answers to everything including their family members. Despite all the ups and downs, mothers are still able to show us unconditional love. They never gave up on us and they believe in us. Mothers want nothing but the best for us. They will stop at nothing in order for us to have the world. We really need to start appreciating our mothers, not only on Mother's Day but everyday. A mother must never wonder if her children still love her or not. She needs to be treated with care, love, respect and kindness.

A simple call just to state that you love her. Even a text message: "I love you mom. Thank you for life."

Sophie Lichaba: A Rare Queen That Deserves To Be Celebrated.

Written By Sivuyile Tshalana.

Sophie Lichaba has been bracing us with her ultimate talent and pure unique acting on our television screens for decades now. You cannot mention Generations and forget to talk about Queen Moroka. As that was her character's name which serious owned and smashed - literary, every scene she was involved on at that time when Generations. She was definitely part of the golden era of Generations. Although she left Generations, she's a multi-skilled woman and had other things to do in her life. Apart from acting, she's an entrepreneur, a presenter, woman of God and an amazing parent, wife, just to name a few. She's a great all round family woman. I truly feel she deserves her name to be put out there with the stars nor icons of our South African film and soapies, in fact the acting industry. Her effortless work in the industry earns the points to be an icon. Hence it's important that we thank her now for all her contribution in the acting and television industry and beyond.

I also noticed that she was now being body shamed on social media due to her weight loss. It has been so serious that many people think she was dying. As I was going through the comments I realized how heartless certain individuals are in this world. No-one deserve such treatment from fellow human beings, it's just inhumane for humans to behave in a manner that offends another person. I figured out that she has diabetics, which has been truly devastating to her health and all she needed from the public was just support. Especially in these tough and testing times, she didn't need to be judged by the public. Hence I wrote this piece to just show her how much she's still loved and appreciated in this country.

Sophie you have a strength of a real woman is shown through her harder or worst times in life.
You're forever a true Queen and a Godly woman.
Your talents and roles you played has changed us positivity one way or the other.
Your impact has been felt Darling.
You're a legend in our hearts.
A friend in our lives.

You don't have to seek for attention as the eyes always on you.
You're gorgeous, smart and easily approachable.

You always look the part in anything that you do in your life.

Always now that you're not alone in this fight.
You have good and loyal fans behind your back.

Here's More Information About Diabetes:
Diabetes is a disease in which your blood glucose, or blood sugar, levels are too high. Glucose comes from the foods you eat. Insulin is a hormone that helps the glucose get into your cells to give them energy. With type 1 diabetes, your body does not make insulin. With type 2 diabetes, the more common type, your body does not make or use insulin well. Without enough insulin, the glucose stays in your blood. You can also have prediabetes. This means that your blood sugar is higher than normal but not high enough to be called diabetes. Having prediabetes puts you at a higher risk of getting type 2 diabetes.
Over time, having too much glucose in your blood can cause serious problems. It can damage your eyes, kidneys, and nerves. Diabetes can also cause heart disease, stroke and even the need to remove a limb. Pregnant women can also get diabetes, called gestational diabetes.
How can I prevent or delay getting type 2 diabetes?
If you are at risk for diabetes, you may be able to prevent or delay getting it. Most of the things that you need to do involve having a healthier lifestyle. So if you make these changes, you will get other health benefits as well. You may lower your risk of other diseases, and you will probably feel better and have more energy. The changes are
Losing weight and keeping it off. ⦁ Weight control is an important part of diabetes prevention. You may be able to prevent or delay diabetes by losing 5 to 10 percent of your current weight. For example, if you weigh 200 pounds, your goal would be to lose between 10 to 20 pounds. And once you lose the weight, it is important that you don't gain it back.
Following a healthy eating plan. It is important to reduce the amount of calories you eat and drink each day, so you can lose weight and keep it off. To do that, your ⦁ diet should include smaller portions and less fat and sugar. You should also eat a variety of foods from each food group, including plenty of whole grains, fruits, and vegetables. It's also a good idea to limit red meat, and avoid processed meats.
Get regular exercise. Exercise has many ⦁ health benefits, including helping you to lose weight and lower your blood sugar levels. These both lower your risk of type 2 diabetes. Try to get at least 30 minutes of physical activity 5 days a week. If you have not been active, talk with your health care professional to figure out which ⦁ types of exercise are best for you. You can start slowly and work up to your goal.
Don't smoke. Smoking can contribute to insulin resistance, which can lead to type 2 diabetes. If you already smoke, ⦁ try to quit.
Talk to your health care provider to see whether there is anything else you can do to delay or to prevent type 2 diabetes. If you are at high risk, your provider may suggest that you take one of a few types of ⦁ diabetes medicines.

Happy Worker's Day.

Written By Sivuyile Tshalana.

You're probably not given the recognition you deserve for all your hard work.
You burst your ass off for the work you do.
You put so much blood, sweat and tears in your work.
You have sleepless nights, early mornings and even late nights at times.
You even drag yourself to work at times even if you just don't feel like going to work.
You literary eat, breathe, think, feel, dream your work.
You've sacrificed a lot for your work, and you continue doing that each and everyday.
You even report to work even if you're not hundred percent well.

You even borrow money just to go work at times as the salary has been depleted.
You don't let your challenges and flaws affect your work.
Even though your work is the most undermined profession in the world but you don't let that discourage you. As you do your work with love and respect.
You're intelligent and successful in your own way.
You're someone's hero.
You're an icon living.
Your work puts food on the table and looks after the whole family.

At times you put yourself last due to your many responsibilities at home and work.
You put sauce in that work dress code. You own it.
You constantly talk about the work you do and how proud you're to be part of a working class.
It's a pity your pay check don't reflect your effort you put into your on a daily basis.
You're the biggest asset in the company.
You maybe paid less than what you deserve but that doesn't make you less of an asset with the company.

Is This Really Freedom?

Written By Sivuyile Tshalana.

Is This Freedom?
Is this your idea of freedom?
Don't get me wrong I am grateful for being in a so called democratic country.
Then again again are we really living in a democratic country?
What's so visible nowadays that shows we're living in a democratic country?

Is This Really Freedom?
Being locked up in our homes, not knowing what will happen in this country.
In fact not know what our government will do with our lives.
I never thought I would saying this but our survival is based on the actions of our government.
We're afraid of the unknown, is this how you envisioned your freedom on the 27th of April 2020 will be like.

Is This Really Freedom?
We have so much inequalities within our country.
The rich are getting richer day by day, meanwhile the poor are getting poorer all day everyday.
The government funds put in place to upgrade our communities are misused by our so called leaders.
Leadership isn't something you get involved in for the sake of getting money.
Leaders lead by example not by default or corruption.
Each leader before coming up with an decision, he/she should this question: How is this going to benefit the citizens of my country?

Is This Really Freedom?
A lot of people are starving each day and they don't know when their next meal will come from.
Others don't even have homes nor shelters.
The employment rate keeps on increasing at all times.
The country struggles with water and electricity as certain provinces don't have full access to such resources.
The education system has failed a lot of people within our country.

Is This Really Freedom?
Our rights are messed around with by certain individuals that feel they're above the law.
Politics run the whole country and if you not at the top or within the political circle, you get nothing.
We don't even a freedom of speech, as we need to watch what we see and whom we say it to within the country.
The media cannot publish the truth as it has to obey certain rules within the governance.
Seriously, no-one can be trusted with doing their jobs within government.
Most people within the government are all talks but no actions. Full of empty promises while the citizens are suffering to lack of competency from our certain government officials.

Is This Really Freedom?
We really got a long way to go to fix our own mistakes and poor decision making skills.
Although we maybe in this mess but we can still come out of it as better people.
We can definitely learn from each situations and challenges that we come across each day in our country.
I just hope we all work together to achieve more success as a country and finally reach that status of having freedom.

You're Not Alone TNS.

Written By Sivuyile Tshalana.

After I saw a rare video of TNS crying live on Instagram, I felt touched by what he was going through and most people could relate in such situation.
TNS explained on his video that he feels that his life is at risk as there's a group of Durban artists that want him dead.
On his the video, he also explained that he has no-one on his corner, as he doesn't have a family. Since he grew up as an orphan. He said the artists can take the music but leave him. Basically he was reaching out for help from anyone. TNS just needed someone to talk to and help him out with the situation at hand. I then decided to dedicate this piece to him...

It was sickening to see you cry like that on social media.
I seriously felt your pain as I washed that Instagram video.
The hopelessness, anger and helplessness was written in your face.
I was a bit emotional too as watching the video.
As your story was very touching and relatable.
You're a young man who was fighting to leave a poverty stricken life and build your own life that you need and dreamt of when you were a child.
I am sorry for what has  happened to your TNS.
It's okay to show your emotions.
And what you're going through.
Every person has a breaking point.
You've shown us that nothing is impossible in life with your success.
You've made us dance with your music.
You're nothing but a pure talent that we should protect as South Africans.
You're the future of our South African Music.
Stay strong young king.
Everything is going to be okay.
Keep praying.
We love and cherish you TNS.
Keep blessing us with your timeless music.
Take care Bhari.
