My Azania.

Written By Miss Madonna Jwara and  Mr Sivuyile Tshalana.

Africa is one of the most beautiful continents in the world. Full of amazing people, delicious food, wonderful places, incredible cultures and a talented continent. It amazes me that it has been ignored by the rest of the world for its importance. Let's start within the continent itself though, the fact that we've allowed different overseas countries to separate us has become questionable. If you look at it we have less Black-owned business, we export almost everything that we consume within the continent and some of us has made okay to be second best. We have all the resources to make Africa great and have an enormous economy that is controlled by ourselves.

The funniest thing is the perception of fear given life by prying eyes who seek to gain, the oldest strategy conquer and divide has worked so well in Africa. So well that the narrative of the conquerors has us not defending a word. I've come to hate so hard for it is not true we do not fear each other nor our black skin or hate each other. Xenophobia in the English dictionary means one scared of his or her race. That is laughable as the Germans feared the Jews yet it's not termed as Xenophobic, Russia and America have been at it since the 18th century, China and Japan had a go at each other. It comes down to intelligence then which is a Black man you don't have the mental capacity to wage wars, colonize or any tangible thing. Is there any claim within your existence that you have to this world your history, your present regrettably your future. There's nothing to claim it's always been ours. We're a peaceful godlike breed race there's no need to fight each other but let's give African Nations the respect due to them. For instance, a task for the authorities sort through that it was Ethiopian, Nigerian and South African nationalists cause if we don't we're indirectly allowing profane terms. Thing is this is the same as Apartheid segregating and grouping us it's still slavery to terms given by other nationalists to Nigerian their narrative then it's transference onto the next African generation.

We need to realise that we don't need other countries to divide us anymore. What has occurred on this continent is enough. We cannot allow the same mentality of slavery moving forward. If we cannot fix ourselves, who will? Also, it's critical that we also have a look at the environment around us. Just figure out how can we then tweak certain things for Africans to believe that they're worth it. Being Black isn't a sign, it's a blessing. Just explore your inner Africanism, get to know other fellow brothers and sisters within the continent. We need to stop thinking that Africans should only remain in their country of birth. If they move they're re regarded as foreigners. How can you become a foreigner in your continent? The hatred that is shown towards as Africans is purely uncalled for and needs to end. We need to make peace with the fact we're one and we want nothing but the best for our continent. Although we were brainwashed by certain overseas countries into believing that were inferior and that we will never be a continent that the whole talks about when it comes to wealth and success.

Even if you switched on the news in overseas countries, all they know about Africa is that it's a poor continent, with high crime, fertility, corruption and death rate. With low life expectancy, no infrastructure and a terrible education system. Most non-Africans that have never been to Africa think that it's a jungle with wild animals moving all over the place. They're sold the wrong side of Africa by their news channels and also our channels don't do justice either as scandals sell more in media. We can sit around, debate the whole day but the truth of the matter is we need to stop talking about the things we cannot change which is the past. It's up to us as Africans to then show the world how our wonderful and resourceful is our continent.

We need to bring back the spirit of humanity, tolerance, respect, peace and love. Together as Africans, we can achieve the greater things for our continent and it's a matter of putting our differences aside. Then coming up with more solutions than creating more problems. Giving rise to Black children seeing and treating each other differently because of hate given life to and appealing emotionally not logically. Those are my brothers and sisters, nobody got time for that are we in a competition which is a better country or whose the smartest or fastest hell, it's healthy. Let's keep falling in love and improving and unlocking our intelligence Azania. Let's focus on ourselves, bettering our skills and knowledge than focusing on the enemy. When we're fully content with ourselves and the continent, the enemy will do us no harm.

Rise Africa Rise!!!
